Sales Development Representative (SaaS)
DCM is a leading Canadian tech-enabled provider of print and digital solutions that help simplify complex marketing communications and operations workflow. As a Sales Development Representative, you will support the full sales cycle of our SaaS solutions by driving outreach, qualification, and pipeline management activities.
Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound demo requests, trial signups, and marketing-generated leads
- Conduct structured discovery to identify needs and assess fit
- Route qualified prospects to the Sales Executive with clear context and next steps
- Maintain response SLAs on inbound leads
- Research and engage target accounts using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot
- Execute personalized outreach sequences across email, phone, and LinkedIn
- Book meetings and create opportunities aligned with ICP criteria
- Support the development of outbound campaigns with messaging and data cleanup
- Maintain accurate CRM data for all prospects, opportunities, and activity history
- Track deal progress, update stages, and ensure complete handoffs to the Sales Executive
- Assist with proposal preparation, scheduling follow-ups, and coordinating procurement steps
- Monitor pipeline coverage and report on activity performance metrics
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development (SaaS preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce or Microsoft)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple priorities
- Comfortable using automation and prospecting tools
- Curious, driven, and collaborative
