About the Opportunity

Project Y partners with high-growth global companies to identify South Africa’s strongest Sales Development Representatives. For this role, we are recruiting on behalf of one of our UK-based SaaS clients, giving you the chance to:

Transition or expand your career in B2B tech sales with a strong onboarding & training program

Build a career in a global environment, while working from Cape Town or Johannesburg

Progress toward senior sales or leadership roles within 24 months

What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of a high-performing international SDR team focused on building pipeline and booking meetings with decision-makers at enterprise-level companies. Your day-to-day will include:

Mastering the market – Understand the space and your client’s ideal customer profile (ICP)

Prospecting with precision – Identify target accounts and the right contacts to approach

Multi-channel outreach – Engage prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to secure meetings and demos

Qualifying opportunities – Ensure leads are a strong fit before handing them to the sales team

Collaborating on GTM campaigns – Work with sales and marketing to refine outreach strategies and automate processes with AI

Continuous improvement – Develop your sales skills, product knowledge, and market insights every week

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if you:

Have a university degree

Bring 1–2 years of customer-facing experience (in sales or business development)

Are genuinely interested in global Ventures

Thrive in fast-paced, target-driven environments

Have excellent spoken and written English for engaging senior-level executives

Are based in Cape Town or South Africa or willing to relocate

Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot)

Familiarity with Sales Automation Platforms, like Clay, Instantly, or SalesLoft
