JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is based in our  Maidenhead  office within the Nutrition division. At Abbott, we develop science-based nutrition products that support people at every stage of life—from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adults strong and active. Our trusted brands include Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, Glucerna®, and ZonePerfect®.

We’re hiring a  Director of Sales  to lead our UK nutrition sales division. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving sales and margin growth across adult, infant, and paediatric markets. You’ll lead a regional management team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver national market share targets and strategic goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver sales and margin goals for the division

  • Achieve national market share targets

  • Lead and develop regional sales and field training teams

    Drive sales force effectiveness and performance

    Support key accounts and lead the contracting process

    Collaborate on product launches and marketing campaigns

    Manage budgets and contribute to strategic planning

    Ensure compliance with Abbott policies and industry standards

    Represent Abbott with key professional bodies and opinion leaders

    Lead sales conferences and contribute to executive team meetings

    Support succession planning and team development

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Proven regional sales management experience

    Experience in HQ functions such as marketing is a plus

    Strong understanding of healthcare and nutritional markets

    Skilled in negotiation, contracting, and presenting

  • High computer literacy

  • Educated to degree level
