Job Title: Sales Representative
Location: Portland, OR
Compensation: Target: $55,000-$65,000+ ($38K base + mileage & tiered commission structure)
Reports to: GM

RAW Cider Co. a fine cider company located in Oregon’s Willamette Valley with an onsite tasting room. Our cider is made like wine, using cider specific apple and pear varieties harvested in season, aged, and blended to achieve our unique flavor profiles. We are seeking a team member excited to grow the category of fine cider in Oregon and Washington retail markets.

The Sales Representative is responsible for working with our General Manager and other team members to aid in growing new business and cultivating relationships throughout the food and beverage industry. They are also responsible for acting as the main point of contact between the company and our customers. Sales Representatives will ensure current customers have the right products and services, identify new markets and customer leads, and pitch prospective customers.

What you will do:

  • Grow and develop the RAW Cider brand

  • Identify and build strong, lasting partnerships with key accounts

    Communicate and maintain product presentation with accounts

    Achieve specified sales goals determined with collaboration with sales advisory team and General Manager

  • Weekly sales tracking and reporting

  • Maintain high-visibility at accounts and in the community

    Engage with the market though promotions, trainings, and events

    Collaborate with social media manager and validate social media content for accuracy and accurate brand presence

    Generate a minimum of 2 social media posts per week

    Respond to and collaborate with client accounts on social media

    Coordinate with Cidermaker on new products to meet client demand - blending and tasting trials

    Deliver monthly deliverables including brand lineup information, pricing sheets, and promotional materials

    Identify and execute local partnerships through promotional events and community involvement opportunities

    Operate and report within expense and budget guidelines

    Track and optimize time resource allocation

What you will bring:

  • Know and effectively communicate pricing and market trends

    Exceptional organizational skills: maintain accurate and timely records in inventory management software

    Knowledge of the metro area suburbs in Oregon

    Capable and engaging conversationalist with strong communication and presentation skills

    Demonstrated knowledge of local wine, cider, or beer market, consumers, and retailers.

    Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.

    Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience in sales, or customer relations

    Reliable vehicle and insurance with clean driving record

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Varying schedule to include weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates as well as flexibility in scheduling to ensure business-staffing needs are met

  • OLCC Servers Permit
