Job Description

The Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with state standards for middle school science. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related science field

  Valid teaching certification for middle-level science (or eligibility to obtain one)

  Classroom teaching experience preferred

  Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills

  Commitment to inclusive education and student-centered learning

  Ability to integrate STEM and digital tools in instruction

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate science instruction aligned with curriculum standards

  Design engaging labs, experiments, and interactive activities

  Assess student understanding using a variety of formative and summative tools

  Collaborate with grade-level and science department colleagues

  Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff
