Responsibilities:
Posts different accounting documents
Prepares and post journal entries
Verifies correctness of postings
Calculates and provides billing information
Prepares manual payments if required
Reconciliates balance sheet accounts
Supports the month/year-end processes, including the preparation of monthly financial reports
Supports the process of preparation of financial statements according to local GAAP
Prepares information, documents or reports required by external accounting and tax provider,
Identifies and solves common cross-processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Treasury) issues
Supports internal & external audits, stakeholders
Proactively suggest improvement ideas to drive continuous improvement
Performs other tasks indicated by the supervisor
Desired Skills & Experience:
Knowledge of US Gaap GAAP will be an asset
Min. 2-3 years of experience in the General Ledger
Very good English skills
University degree in Tax or Accounting will be an asset
Good knowledge of Excel and experience with SAP
Being able to work within tight operational deadlines and priorities
Problem-solving skills and a cooperative attitude
High degree of proactiveness and self-reliance
