Senior Analyst, Strategic Planning

 

 

Position Profile
This role leads software development efforts for large-scale, complex web technology and data-processing initiatives. The position is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with targeted business outcomes.

This includes partnering with process owners, functional leaders, and cross-functional teams to analyze data, improve business processes, and drive operational efficiency. The role also applies project management and process improvement methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor initiatives.

In addition to project leadership, this position provides subject-matter expertise in supply chain processes and systems, supporting both process improvement teams and broader operational functions.
Key Responsibilities Strategic & Project Leadership

Drive the successful execution of complex business initiatives and programs

Lead development of enterprise and business unit strategic plans

Manage cross-enterprise initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals

Provide project management, analysis, reporting, and presentations to senior leadership

Partner with senior leaders to scope and execute strategic initiatives end-to-end, delivering measurable outcomes

Process Improvement & Analytics

Identify, develop, and maintain performance benchmarks

Analyze business needs and recommend operational and process improvements

Ensure visibility of performance gaps to headquarters and regional leadership

Identify improvement opportunities and lead solution development and implementation

Enhance reporting tools through standardization, best practices, and technology improvements

Reporting & Tools Development

Design and implement efficient information-sharing and reporting processes

Develop and maintain web-based reporting systems and tools

Ensure accurate and timely delivery of reporting to management teams

Support development of next-generation applications (e.g., reporting systems, training platforms)

Provide technical support for system design, configuration, testing, and implementation

Collaboration & Support

Build strong relationships with executives, peers, and cross-functional teams

Support Dealer Services Management and Technical Support teams in a matrix environment

Contribute to corporate and divisional programs and initiatives

Participate in or lead project teams as needed

Provide technical expertise for complex systems and applications

Technical Responsibilities

Plan, test, configure, tune, and deploy web applications

Support system integration and ongoing enhancements

Troubleshoot and maintain application and server environments

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

5+ years of field service management or related experience (preferred)

Proven project management experience

Proficiency in web page design and development

Technical Skills

Strong experience with Microsoft Office (including Access or similar database tools)

Working knowledge of:

JavaScript, ASP, VBA, HTML

Oracle and SQL Server

SQL programming

Experience with web-based reporting solutions

Ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IIS servers

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy

Self-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions

Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines

Adaptable to changing priorities and new information

Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate insights to various audiences

Working Conditions

Office-based environment with standard lighting, temperature, and noise levels

Significant time spent working at a computer

Regular exposure to tight deadlines and workload pressures, particularly during reporting cycles

Physical activities may include walking, standing, bending, and lifting light materials

Requires consistent hand-eye coordination for computer-based tasks and data entry
