As a (Senior) Consultant for Digital Identities / EUDI Wallet Ecosystem (m/f/d), you will work with our clients to design future-proof solutions around digital identities, the EUDI wallet, verifiable credentials, trust services, and interoperable ecosystems. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, business, and implementation, contribute your ideas, take on responsibility, and continuously develop your skills.

    Responsibilities:

     

    Advise clients from the public sector and regulated industries on designing and evolving solutions around digital identities, eIDAS 2.0, and the EUDI wallet

    Analyze business, regulatory, and technical requirements and translate them into target visions, solution approaches, and implementation steps

    Design use cases and functional architectures for wallet ecosystems, verifiable credentials, issuer/verifier scenarios, authentication, signatures, and digital proofs

    Structure and facilitate workshops with clients, business units, architecture, IT, data protection, and other stakeholders

    Develop business concepts, decision documents, roadmaps, and implementation plans for complex transformation initiatives

    Support tenders, market analyses, product and ecosystem strategies, and the preparation and execution of pilot and implementation projects

    Work closely with interdisciplinary teams from consulting, architecture, design, and engineering to turn strategic requirements into practical solutions

    Depending on your experience level, take responsibility for work packages, functional streams, or subprojects and support colleagues through active knowledge sharing

    Qualifications:

     

    Degree in business informatics, computer science, public administration IT, business, law, political science, or a comparable qualification

    Several years of experience in technology or management consulting, digitalization projects, or building digital platforms and services

    Strong understanding of digital identities, eIDAS 2.0, EUDI wallet, trust services, verifiable credentials, SSI, IAM, or related fields

    Experience structuring complex requirements and translating them into concepts, roadmaps, and decision-making materials

    Confident presence in workshops and stakeholder management, with enjoyment of direct client communication

  • Experience in AI tools
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working

    Strong interest in regulatory, organizational, and technical aspects of European identity ecosystems

    At least C1 German and good English skills (written and spoken)

  • Nice to have

    • Experience in public administration, regulated markets, or European digitalization programs

      Knowledge of wallet architectures, PKI, electronic signatures, identity proofing, interoperability, or governance models

      Experience contributing to proposals, tenders, or business cases

      Interest in developing Nortal’s service portfolio in digital identities and trusted digital ecosystems
