🎯 The Role
As a Senior Data Engineer (Azure), you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data integration and data platform solutions that support enterprise-wide reporting, analytics, and master data management initiatives. You will work within a collaborative Agile team, helping consolidate data from multiple business systems into trusted, centralised data platforms that enable informed decision-making across the organisation.

💵 Compensation: Daily rate €250 – €300

💥 Your Impact
In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions within the Azure ecosystem

Build and support enterprise data platforms that consolidate information from multiple source systems

Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, validate, and distribute business-critical data

Contribute to data modelling, data quality, and governance initiatives

Support Master Data Management (MDM) processes and ensure consistency across systems

Work with structured and semi-structured data from ERP, business applications, APIs, databases, and external sources

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions

Participate in deployment, testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement activities

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps best practices

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and team collaboration

👤 What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or Data Integration Engineer

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Strong SQL and database development skills

Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, or similar)

Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems and applications

Strong understanding of data modelling and data integration concepts

Experience working with APIs, JSON, CSV, and other common integration formats

Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Fluency in English

Nice-to-Haves
Experience with Azure Databricks

Experience with PySpark or Spark-based processing frameworks

Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) solutions

Experience with ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Exact, etc.)

Experience with Talend or similar ETL platforms

Familiarity with Power BI and reporting ecosystems

Experience working in construction, industrial, manufacturing, or multi-entity enterprise environments

Exposure to data governance and data quality frameworks
