As a Senior Data Management Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, building, and enabling analytics solutions on modern cloud data platforms. This role focuses on solving complex data integration and modeling challenges using Snowflake and dbt, while partnering closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver trusted, high-impact analytics solutions.

This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise and consulting skills, including the ability to lead discovery, translate business needs into well-designed data models, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

This is  contract role through 12/31/26, with potential for extension

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze data from diverse source systems to understand upstream business processes, data semantics, and integration requirements

Lead discovery and requirements-gathering efforts with business and technical stakeholders to shape analytics solutions

Design and implement scalable Snowflake-based data architectures that support analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption

Develop, test, and maintain robust, performance-optimized ELT pipelines using Snowflake and dbt best practices

Build curated, analytics-ready data models that enable self-service reporting and decision-making

Apply analytics engineering best practices, including modular modeling, testing, documentation, and version control using dbt

Identify and resolve complex data integration, data quality, and performance issues across the analytics stack

Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows for data pipelines and analytics models using GitHub or GitLab

Lead or support data migrations from on-premises or legacy platforms to Snowflake

Provide technical leadership and guidance on data modeling standards, transformation patterns, and analytics architecture

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams using agile delivery methodologies

Support release management for data platforms, pipelines, and analytics assets

Design and manage workflow orchestration and monitoring for data pipelines

Ensure data platform security, including role-based access control and secure data sharing within Snowflake

Communicate clearly and confidently with clients, including presenting technical concepts, tradeoffs, and recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data management roles

Strong experience designing and delivering analytics solutions on Snowflake, including data modeling, performance optimization, and security

Hands-on experience using dbt for analytics engineering, including model development, testing, and documentation

Experience with Streamlit a plus

Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations, multi-layer queries, and analytical patterns

Experience developing ELT pipelines in a modern cloud data platform environment

Strong understanding of modern data warehousing, analytics engineering, and semantic modeling concepts

Experience with CI/CD tooling and version control using GitHub and or GitLab

Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into well-structured data models and analytics solutions

Strong consulting and client-facing skills, including stakeholder communication, expectation management, and solution ownership

Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

Experience working in agile, client-facing, or consulting environments

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $70-$80 per hour. Final pay rate will be determined based on experience, qualifications and geographic location
