Position Overview
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Product Manager I to join our Advertising Technology team in a fully remote capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-savvy professional who thrives at the intersection of product management and data analytics. In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between our product teams and data infrastructure, helping to translate complex datasets into actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and innovative product solutions.
You will become the primary data expert for our Advertising Sales CRM applications and communication platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and deliver data-driven products that drive measurable business value. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills. You will be responsible for interrogating both large and small datasets, analyzing patterns, uncovering opportunities for improvement, and packaging your findings into compelling narratives that influence executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Product Manager I at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our advertising technology products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Data Strategy Development: Define and execute the data strategy for the Dynamic Advertising Sales CRM application and communication platforms, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and product roadmaps.
- Data Analysis & Documentation: Analyze, document, and organize complex platform data into clear product requirements and meaningful product enhancements that deliver incremental business value.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work as part of cross-functional product teams as a Data Product Manager to bring value-adding data assets to market, collaborating with engineering, design, QA, and program management teams.
- Data Integration: Lead advertising platform data analysis, configuration, and loading processes in partnership with our Master Data Management colleagues and Advertising Platform product teams.
- Strategic Communications: Prepare presentation materials that outline ongoing product strategy and roadmap for business and technical team communications, including executive-level briefings.
- Technical Solution Evaluation: Collaborate with peer Product Managers, Design, Engineering, QA, and Program Management to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic technical solutions.
- Consistency & Standards: Provide product insights to ensure consistent experiences of client controls, data definitions, and business logic across all platforms and applications.
- ROI Optimization: Evaluate and recommend product innovations and enhancements that drive business value and improve return on investment through data-driven insights.
- Testing & Implementation: Assist with User Acceptance Testing and implement product release strategies with end users, technology leads, and fellow Product Managers.
- Executive Presentation: Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations and communicate findings effectively to executive leadership.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to bring a combination of technical expertise, business insight, and interpersonal skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a product management role within a data product development environment, or related work experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or advertising technology.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong capability in technical data handling with advanced Excel formulas, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and complex data manipulation techniques.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in SQL and/or Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Experience with database querying and data manipulation is essential.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop strategic objectives and translate business requirements into technical solutions that meet both immediate and long-term needs.
- Communication Skills: Effectively communicates complex data concepts and findings to internal contacts at various organizational levels, from technical teams to executive leadership.
