About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team building products that serve customers at scale.
This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments and enjoy solving complex technical challenges while delivering meaningful customer impact. You'll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to build and improve critical user-facing experiences and backend services.
You'll have significant autonomy, direct influence on technical decisions, and the opportunity to contribute to systems that process large volumes of transactions and customer interactions every day.

What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and backend services

Build customer-facing features that improve user experience and product adoption

Develop APIs, integrations, and internal tools that support core business operations

Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions

Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and observability

Contribute to architecture discussions and long-term technical strategy

Own projects from concept and design through deployment and ongoing maintenance

Help define engineering standards, best practices, and development processes

Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers where appropriate

What We're Looking For
Strong experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, or Backend-leaning Full Stack Engineer

Excellent software engineering fundamentals and system design skills

Strong experience building scalable web applications and distributed systems

Expertise with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React

Experience designing and building APIs and backend services

Strong understanding of databases, caching, messaging systems, and cloud infrastructure

Product mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence and business impact

Comfortable taking ownership and working independently in a fast-moving environment

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions

Particularly Relevant Backgrounds
Experience in high-growth, product-led technology companies operating at significant scale is highly valued. Engineers from fintech, SaaS, marketplaces, developer platforms, and infrastructure companies often excel in this environment.
Examples include organizations such as Revolut, Wise, Monzo, N26, Klarna, Checkout.com, SumUp, and similar high-performance engineering cultures.

Nice to Have
Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures

Exposure to payments, banking, financial products, or regulated environments

Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud-native technologies

Familiarity with data-intensive systems and high-volume transactional platforms

Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
