We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll processing for approximately 300 employees working out of our Tel Aviv office. The ideal candidate has a strong background in high-tech, expertise in "Hashavit" payroll software, and over five years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a publicly traded company.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and automated environment.

In this role you'll

  • Support the payroll administration process, ensuring timely and accurate execution

    Collect and update payroll data in the system, ensuring compliance with local regulations

    Act as the point of reference for employees’ payroll-related inquiries

    Manage pensions, employee benefits, and interactions with insurance agencies

    Process new hires and employment terminations

    Handle monthly reporting to the National Insurance Institute (Bituach Leumi) and Tax Authority

    Calculate and manage vacation and recuperation (havraa) accruals

    Prepare and record payroll journal entries (JEs), ensuring reconciliation with the general ledger

    Execute annual 126 reporting and reconciliation

    Ensure payroll is aligned with company policies, accounting requirements, and legal regulations

    Implement and adapt payroll processes based on changing regulations and company policies

    Work closely with external stakeholders on payroll-related topics

    Maintain strict confidentiality and high service levels

What you'll need
  • Israel Payroll Controller certification

    5+ years of experience managing payroll processes in Israel

    Experience in the high-tech industry, a must

    Proficiency in "Hashavit" payroll software, a must

    Strong knowledge of Israeli labor laws, payroll regulations, and social security requirements

    Experience working with payroll institutions and insurance agents

    Experience in a publicly traded company, an advantage

    Advanced Excel skills. 

    Google Sheets knowledge, an advantage

    Ability to work in an automated environment rather than manual processes

    Strong multitasking skills and high attention to detail

    Familiarity with Slack, Workday, FloQast, and prior bookkeeping experience, a plus

    Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week
