Our team is growing:

Provide’s Product team is looking for a bold, compassionate, and focused Senior Product Manager to design, develop, and market products for Small Business and Provide. In this role, you will focus on translating complex processes into simple, straightforward, and delightful online experiences, executing on defined product strategy to maximize profitability and meet customer needs, and setting strategic direction for the product, acting as a champion and advocate internally on the value proposition and impact to the business.

As a Provide and Fifth Third Bank team member, you will be responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. You will be accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the risk appetites of Provide and Fifth Third Bank, you will be expected to achieve results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

A day in the life:

Identify opportunities to broaden product feature/functionality and drive product development based on market and competitive intelligence

Build business cases for strategic investment and manage the ready-to-launch process, including legal, risk, and marketing plans

Define the scope and goals of projects, coordinating seamlessly with business partners, designers, and engineers throughout the product lifecycle

Connect with customer segments directly — using the Sales team as a liaison — to gather quantitative and qualitative insights regularly

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams in Sales, Credit, Loan Operations, Capital Markets, and Finance, as well as external partners in the practice finance community

Identify opportunities to expand product reach vertically (deeper penetration) or horizontally (expanded value proposition) by working with Business Development

Manage execution of product strategic initiatives — translating business requirements into functional specifications, conducting ongoing project meetings with technology teams, and providing thorough documentation

Develop product training materials for technical products, including detailed information to train the sales force and customers

Conduct sales training and support technical sales for new product enhancements

Compile financial data and analysis for the product line manager

Gather market and client data through daily activities, direct client contact, and industry conferences

Advise data analysts and software engineers on data architecture and infrastructure projects

Support sales on non-standard RFPs; document responses to questions not found in the RFP database or as required for large strategic deals

Document all setup and operational requirements for new products and services

Develop a stronger presence and deeper product knowledge

Our newest teammate will have:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, computer science, or related discipline)

Five (5) or more years of experience in product management, preferably in fintech, banking, or other regulated industries

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle — from ideation to launch and iteration

Experience working with Agile development teams and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and prioritize roadmap items

Familiarity with web technologies and software development concepts (e.g., APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable plans

Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance competing priorities across business, technical, and compliance needs

Comfort working in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment with a high bar for quality and attention to detail

Bonus points for:

Experience in compliance-aware product development or working within regulated environments

Startup or high-growth company experience
