About Juniper Square

Our mission is to unlock the full potential of private markets. Privately owned assets like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital make up half of our financial ecosystem yet remain inaccessible to most people. We are digitizing these markets, and as a result, bringing efficiency, transparency, and access to one of the most productive corners of our financial ecosystem. If you care about making the world a better place by making markets work better through technology – all while contributing as a member of a values-driven organization – we want to hear from you.

Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.

About your role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to help shape the product strategy for private credit operations at Juniper Square. This is not a generic SaaS product role. Your mission is to re-architect how private credit firms operate - replacing fragmented, Excel-based processes with a scalable, system-driven platform.

You will define and deliver products that handle:

Daily loan activity (draws, paydowns, interest, fees)

Complex contract structures (revolvers, DDTLs, multi-tranche facilities)

Event-driven workflows (rate resets, payments, lifecycle notices)

Lender allocations and ownership structures

Integration with accounting systems and downstream reporting (e.g., Investran)

AI-powered processing of credit agreements and lifecycle notices

You will work closely with:

Our Loan Operations team

Our Fund Administration team

Our clients—private credit managers (GPs)

Engineering and design teams

Private credit is one of the fastest-growing asset classes - but its operational backbone is still broken.

This role is an opportunity to:

Replace legacy systems and Excel-based workflows

Build mission-critical infrastructure for private credit managers

Help define a new category of AI-powered financial operations platforms

What you’ll do

Own the Product Strategy

  • Define and execute the product vision for private credit operations

Build and prioritize a roadmap that replaces legacy workflows and Excel-based processes

Drive the evolution toward an AI-native loan operations platform

Partner with Internal Domain Experts (Your First Customers)

  • Work day-to-day with our Loan Operations and Fund Administration teams to:

Understand real-world workflows, edge cases, and operational pain points

Translate domain complexity into scalable product solutions

Continuously validate and refine features based on hands-on usage

Engage Directly with Clients (Private Credit Managers)

  • Partner with our clients - private credit managers (GPs) - to:

Validate product direction and prioritize the roadmap

Ensure the platform supports their investment structures and servicing needs

Drive adoption and long-term product fit

Translate into Product & Drive Execution

  • Own the end-to-end translation of business needs into clear, ready-to-build product requirements

Work closely with engineering and design throughout the SDLC—from discovery to delivery

Break down complex credit workflows into structured user stories, edge cases, and acceptance criteria

Act as the primary interface between domain experts and engineering, ensuring what gets built reflects real-world needs

Drive Integration & Automation

  • Define integrations with fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran) and data platforms

Advance AI-driven capabilities for document processing and workflow automation

    Qualifications

    Core Capabilities

    • Demonstrated ability to translate complex, real-world workflows into clear, buildable product requirements

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down ambiguous, domain-heavy challenges into structured solutions

High ownership mindset with a bias toward execution and delivery

    Relevant Experience

    • Experience working in or closely with private credit, loan operations, or adjacent financial domains

Familiarity with credit agreements, loan servicing workflows, and the operational lifecycle of private credit investments

    A plus if you have:

    • Exposure to systems such as:

      Investran

      Allvue

      WSO

      Sentry PM

Product & Technical Skills

  • Experience defining product requirements, user stories, and edge cases in collaboration with engineering teams

Ability to operate effectively across the full SDLC—from discovery through delivery

A plus if you have:

  • Familiarity with:

    APIs and system integrations

    Data models and data flows

Ways You May Have Gained This Experience

We recognize that strong candidates may come from a variety of backgrounds, including:

Product management in B2B SaaS environments

Business analyst or product owner roles working closely with engineering

Operational roles within private credit or investment operations

Ideal Candidate Profile

You’ve either:

Worked directly in private credit, loan operations, or investment operations, or

Built products deeply embedded in those workflows

You understand:

How messy real-world credit operations are

How heavily firms rely on Excel and manual processes

The nuances and variability of credit agreements

And you’re excited to:

Turn that complexity into scalable, system-driven solutions

Replace legacy tools with modern, intuitive workflows

Help define the next-generation operating system for private credit
