Join the Netflix Bossfight Gaming Studio as a Senior QA Analyst and play a critical role in delivering the next generation of video games to a global audience. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the quality and stability of our games across various platforms, with a focus on iOS and Android.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute QA strategies, identify and resolve complex issues, and drive the development of high-quality games. Responsibilities:
- Test game functionality and performance across Android/iOS devices and other customer platforms
- Triage and resolve complex issues, collaborating with engineering teams and producers to identify requirements and develop test plans
- Define test coverage, create and maintain test cases, report test results, and assess readiness to ship throughout the software development lifecycle
- Work with partners and stakeholders to utilize and improve our testing tools
- Investigate product quality, usability, and system limitations
Requirements:
- Passion for video games with a commitment to excellence
- 4+ years of industry experience in QA (preferably in the gaming industry)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on testing mobile games experience
- Excellent iOS/Android testing experience
- Professional knowledge of technical requirements, tools, and methodologies
- Experience translating requirements into effective test cases
- Proven experience with test planning for complex features/systems
- Ability to work independently, thrive in a detail-oriented environment, and take ownership of solutions
- Experience with JIRA, TestRail, and TCM tools
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams, review partner test results, and maintain high-quality products
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence through feedback, championing and enhancing the user experience
- Deep understanding of accessibility requirements and testing techniques
- Experience with Unity Editor and Perforce
Bonus Skills:
- Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master and/or Product Owner, ISTQB
- Experience with Xcode, using IPAs, and pulling device logs
- Experience with continuous integration systems
