Our client, a renowned architectural firm, is seeking a highly proficient Senior Revit Technician to join their team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, US . This role is integral to the design and documentation process, requiring exceptional skills in Revit software and a strong understanding of architectural design principles. You will be responsible for developing complex BIM models, producing detailed construction documents, and collaborating with architects and project teams.

Responsibilities:
Create and manage complex Revit models for architectural projects of varying scales and typologies. Develop detailed construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules, directly from BIM models. Ensure adherence to BIM execution plans, project standards, and architectural design intent.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to resolve design issues and ensure model integrity. Produce high-quality renderings and visualizations from BIM models for client presentations and design reviews. Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and best practices within the firm.

Train and mentor junior technicians on Revit software and BIM workflows. Conduct quality control checks on BIM models and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage model file organization, archiving, and collaboration processes.

Stay updated with the latest versions of Revit and other relevant BIM software and technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Revit and BIM workflows. Contribute to a collaborative and efficient design process, ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables.

Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Revit Technician or BIM Specialist, with a strong focus on architectural projects. Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit Architecture; advanced knowledge of families, templates, and project management features.

Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, and construction methods. Experience with other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings and documentation.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in coordinating models with structural and MEP engineers is highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
