SEO Manager (5+ Years Experience) | Senior-Level, Long-Term

Location: Remote

Engagement: Full-Time / Long-Term

Compensation: ~$60,000/year (hourly or monthly contract via Upwork)

About Us

MarketDing.ai is an AI-powered marketing company focused on search growth that drives real leads and revenue for healthcare, SaaS, and ecommerce brands.

We don’t do cookie-cutter SEO.

We don’t chase vanity rankings.

We don’t use spam or shortcuts.

We build clean, scalable search systems that work in competitive industries.

We’re hiring a Senior SEO Manager to take full ownership of strategy and execution across multiple client accounts. This role is for someone who already knows how to win — and wants to operate like a growth owner, not a task-taker.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for making SEO predictable, structured, and outcome-driven for clients.

That means building the plan, setting priorities, leading execution, and clearly reporting progress.

You will own SEO end to end.

What You’ll Do

Run full SEO strategy across multiple client accounts

Perform fast, accurate audits (technical, on-page, content, local)

Create clear 90-day roadmaps and 6–12 month growth plans

Direct writers, developers, and junior SEOs with specific, actionable tasks

Improve rankings and conversions (SEO that drives leads, not just traffic)

Own local SEO and Google Business Profile performance (especially for healthcare clients)

Report progress in a way founders and executives can easily understand

Requirements (Please Read Carefully)

We’re only looking for senior-level SEO operators.

You must have:

5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with real results you can explain

Strong experience in healthcare, SaaS, or ecommerce (at least one)

Ability to run SEO end to end without hand-holding

Advanced technical SEO knowledge (crawlability, indexation, CWV, schema, site structure)

Proven content strategy and keyword mapping skills (no cannibalization, no fluff)

Experience leading or directing others (writers, junior SEOs, developers)

Clear, direct communication in plain English

Tools You Should Be Comfortable With

You don’t need every tool listed, but you should be confident with most:

Ahrefs and/or Semrush

Google Search Console

GA4

Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or similar crawlers

PageSpeed / Core Web Vitals tools

Notion, ClickUp, or similar tools for SOPs and task management

(If your stack differs but your results are strong, that’s fine.)

What Success Looks Like

We don’t track busywork — we track progress.

Success in this role means:

Clients have clear roadmaps and feel momentum month to month

Competitive keywords move consistently upward

Local visibility improves in real markets (not just reports)

Content and technical work ships on time and at a high standard

The team moves faster because your direction is sharp

This Role Is NOT a Fit If:

You rely on PBNs, link farms, or shortcuts

You can’t show real before-and-after results

You speak in buzzwords instead of specifics

You need daily instructions to be productive

Your experience is limited to basic blog SEO

We’re serious about quality and outcomes.

How to Apply (Important)

To reduce spam applications, please follow these steps exactly:

Start your proposal with the word DOMINATE

Share 2–3 SEO wins you personally led, including:

Industry

Starting point

What you did

Timeline

Result (traffic, leads, or revenue preferred)

Briefly answer:

What are the first 5 things you check when a site isn’t ranking?

How do you build a local SEO plan that actually wins?

Short, clear, and specific responses are best.

If you’re a senior SEO who wants real ownership, real impact, and a serious team, we’d love to hear from you.
