Location Details: Gurugram, Haryana

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
Join Our Team... This position is for a Senior Tax Analyst who handles complete tax compliance, aids tax planning projects, and ensures alignment with changing domestic and global tax laws. The position calls for advanced technical understanding of direct taxation, strong analytical abilities, and the aptitude to partner with various functions to improve the organization’s tax position while upholding regulatory standards!

What you'll get to do...
Tax Compliance & Reporting
Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery according to statutory deadlines
Support the closure of statutory financial statements by providing relevant tax-related inputs and reconciliations
Help prepare and review tax audit reports and interact with accounting and tax auditors as necessary
Prepare withholding tax (WHT) workpapers and file applicable WHT returns
Support the preparation of detailed documentation and analysis for group financial reporting purposes
Maintain and update monthly cash tax trackers and assist in forecasting future tax liabilities
Transfer Pricing
Support transfer pricing adherence, including preparation and upkeep of documentation consistent with regulatory standards
Collaborate with external consultants on benchmarking studies and reporting obligations
Tax Research & Advisory
Carry out detailed analysis of domestic and international tax laws to maintain ongoing adherence
Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the company’s tax position and reporting requirements
Help identify tax planning opportunities and approaches to improve the overall effective tax rate
Audit & Controversy Management
Support tax audits by preparing documentation, responding to queries, and liaising with tax authorities
Support the management of ongoing tax controversies, including assessments, appeals, and litigation matters, and coordinate with external consultants when necessary
Supporting Treasury & Cross-Border Transactions
Collaborate with treasury and accounts processing teams to ensure timely payment of taxes
Prepare monthly intercompany outward remittance paperwork and coordinate with treasury for cross-border transactions
Accounting & Intercompany Support
Partner with the accounting team to address tax-related queries, including reconciliations of intercompany balances and tax payable accounts
Ensure alignment between tax records and financial statements
Process Improvement & Automation
Find opportunities to streamline and automate tax processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy
Leverage technology and tools to improve compliance, reporting, and forecasting activities
Your experience should include...
Strong understanding of corporate tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing regulations
Proven experience in tax compliance, provisions, and audits
Ability to interpret complex tax laws and apply them practically in a business context
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tax or reporting tools; experience with automation tools is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively across finance, legal, and external advisors
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
You might also have...
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
