The Senior Technical Product Owner plays a critical leadership role in shaping product strategy, defining roadmaps, and driving value delivery in partnership with Product Management. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring that customer-facing solutions are innovative, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals. This individual is a strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. They work cross-functionally with engineering, product, support, and customers to deliver high-impact solutions while energizing stakeholders and teams around the product vision.

What You’ll Do
Lead with Vision
Partner with Product Managers, business teams, and customers to define product strategies, goals, and vision

Drive product initiatives that deliver meaningful value to customers and stakeholders

Own and Execute the Roadmap
Translate customer needs, technical requirements, and engineering input into clear, prioritized roadmaps

Support ongoing roadmap development, including migration and integration initiatives

Driving Agile Delivery
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed and prioritized

Break down features into user stories and define clear acceptance criteria

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery

Act as a Technical Liaison
Serve as the primary point of contact between product and development teams

Facilitate communication, resolve issues, and manage competing priorities

Support back-and-forth discussions to refine technical requirements

Support Product Development & Operations
Work with support and implementation teams to address product-related questions

Participate in vendor interactions and support third-party integrations

Assist with QA/testing efforts to ensure product quality

Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration
Engage with stakeholders including engineering, product, support, implementation teams, and customers

Communicate progress, risks, and updates to senior leadership effectively

Act as a domain expert across assigned product areas

Drive Technology Transformation
Contribute to initiatives such as cloud migration, APIs, and microservices development

Support integration and consolidation of platforms to deliver best-in-class solutions

Mentor and Influence
Provide informal mentorship to junior Product Owners and team members

Help evolve processes, tools, and best practices across the product organization

What You Bring
Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience, including:
4+ years in Agile/SDLC environments

3+ years managing product roadmaps and backlogs

Strong experience translating business needs into technical requirements

Hands-on experience with APIs, integrations, and web services

Familiarity with product tools such as JIRA, Aha, Confluence, and Figma

Experience working with large, cross-functional development teams

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Ability to balance technical depth with product strategy

Preferred
Experience in FinTech or banking environments

Exposure to digital banking products (e.g., payments, card management, bill pay)

Certifications such as SAFe, CSPO, PSPO, or similar

Work Environment
Fully remote work environment with flexibility, supported by a collaborative and highly engaged team

Fast-paced, Agile development setting with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, support, and implementation

High-visibility role with regular interaction with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organization

Frequent collaboration with distributed teams across multiple time zones, with a preference for alignment to core business hours
