The Role

NewRocket is a global team made up of ServiceNow professionals who help our customers run and grow their ServiceNow environments. We are hiring a ServiceNow Solution Architect with CSM / SOM/TSOM experience. The solution Architect is responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Software Engineers who provide the development of project professional services for customers. The Senior Software Engineer will implement and develop customizations based on functional and technical requirements using leading practices and internal code standards on large-scale more complex professional services projects. 

We will provide support and guidance to get you up to speed on some of the most amazing projects!  We provide official ServiceNow training so you can achieve multiple certifications. We will set expectations for what success looks like. Then we will allow you use your skills and experience to come up with innovative solutions to achieve customer goals.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will interface with end-users, key stakeholders to gather systems requirements for CSM/FSM

Develop and implement CSM programs, policies, and control frameworks

Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis on ServiceNow platform issues.

Participate on project teams that define, design, and develop CSM solutions on the ServiceNow platform based on requirements gathered from clients

Support and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems

Collaborate with stakeholders & end users to understand requirements and deliver effective ServiceNow solutions.

Participate in platform upgrades, clone, patching, and performance optimization initiatives.

Promote your update sets and data across applicable SN environments

Ensure adherence to best practices in ServiceNow development and configuration.

Align with existing SN technical lead for map/event work to ensure consistent approach that does not break shared patterns

Document technical solutions, workflows, and issue resolutions.

What You Bring Along

10+ years of experience in developing/implementing on the ServiceNow platform, including CSM and,Custom Applications, including Policy and Compliance.

At least 5+ years’ experience working in software development involving ServiceNow CSM products

Should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an architect role

Strong experience with ServiceNow modules, including CSM ,FSM , SOM /TSOM. 

Solid understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards

Coding and configuring integrations between ServiceNow and data source systems

Experience working with risk or compliance teams, tools, practices

Experience with working with customers to understand business problems and translate to technical requirements, design, and build solutions, perform testing, conduct demos, and train end users on how to use solutions.

Experience working with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST) and any bi-directional, automated integration between two systems.

Experience with discovery, requirements gathering, and the build out of core ServiceNow functionality

Knowledge of all aspects of ServiceNow scripting including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes

Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation

Education: 

A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or demonstrated work experience

Preferred certifications:

CSA (Certified System Administrator)

CIS–CSM 

CAD (Certified Application Developer)

CTA preferred
