Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced SharePoint Front End Developer to support our government customer. This position is remote.

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services Company has an immediate need for a SharePoint Solutions Architect with the expertise to deliver an enhancement, collaboration, and vision to Indian Health Services (IHS) existing SharePoint sites.

A strong skillset for SharePoint administration functions including, but not limited to, site and page creation, enhancement, maintenance, permissions, and content delivery is a must. The candidate should be skilled with SharePoint, organization techniques, communication, and creativity.

This position will work in tandem with IHS Health Information Technology Modernization Program’s PMO and report directly to the Kadiak Program Director. The position is integral to our success at IHS and providing our client with the most organized and professional team members to meet their expectations.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: 

SharePoint Development:

Develop, enhance, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, pages, and custom front-end components

Implement modern UI experiences using JSON formatting for columns, views, and list forms

Build and maintain integrated Power Apps connected to SharePoint and other M365 data sources

Develop and support Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications, and process automation

Apply consistent UI/UX patterns, naming conventions, and design standards across all solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint performance, permissions, and configuration issues

Evaluate existing SharePoint sites and current presence, recommending and implementing improvements in alignment with organizational needs and best practices

Maintain and update SharePoint sites for a variety of audiences to support needs, organizational changes, efforts, and strategic direction

Develop best practices for SharePoint content and presence incorporating into a strategic approach and in coordination with existing teams managing the content and sites

Evaluates practices, recommends, and implements improvements to streamline communications and content delivery to a variety of audiences in a sustainable method for the future factoring in non-dedicated resources for SharePoint support

Support in the preparation of status reports, meeting minutes, hosting of meetings, creating meeting agendas and technical program presentations for upper-level management and sponsors

PowerBI & Dashboard Support:

Assist with Power BI dataset preparation, SharePoint data modeling, dashboard development, and dashboard integration

Support dashboard refresh logic, data migration, data analysis, data analytics, data connections, and report enhancements

Documentation, SOPs & Accessibility:

Develop and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and change tracking artifacts

Ensure all documentation and user facing materials meet Section 508 accessibility requirements

Contribute to governance, quality control, and standardization across the SharePoint and Power Platform environment

Cross Functional Collaboration:

Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions

Participate in testing, validation, and release processes

Support knowledge transfer and continuity across the development team

.NET / JavaScript Support:

Assist with JavaScript, C#/.NET, or ASP.NET components when collaborating with senior developers

Understand clearly how SharePoint integrates with external services, APIs, and legacy components

 

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required Skills & Experience:

5–7 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Online development

Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/ processes

Strong proficiency in:

SharePoint Online front-end customization

JSON formatting

Integrated Power Apps

Power Automate

Modern UI/UX design principles

Strong knowledge of:

JavaScript

HTML/CSS

C#/.NET

Experience supporting and building Power BI dashboards

Demonstrated commitment to quality, consistency, and documentation excellence

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high quality work with minimal oversight

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with enterprise SharePoint governance and best practices

Familiarity with SDLC processes, version control, and structured release management

Experience writing SOPs, technical documentation, and user guides

Microsoft certifications in M365, Power Platform, or SharePoint and Power BI

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent hands-on experience

Certifications may substitute for degree requirements
