The Opportunity
As a Site Contract Lead, you'll be at the heart of clinical trial execution, orchestrating the site contracting process that keeps trials moving forward. You'll own the full lifecycle of site contracts—from strategy and execution to performance monitoring and risk mitigation—while leading a team and partnering with global stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.

What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership & Oversight
Lead the site contracting process end-to-end, ensuring timely and effective contract execution

Develop and implement best practices, processes, and tools that elevate site contract management across projects

Oversee and mentor a project-specific Site Contracts team, providing guidance and specialized training

Participate in Key Opinion Meetings (KOMs) to shape contracting strategies and tactics
 

Performance & Risk Management
Monitor and drive performance metrics including contract cycle times, aging, quality, and compliance

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to timelines, costs, strategy effectiveness, and quality

Maintain rigorous budget control, tracking and communicating costs with precision and timeliness

Support project hour forecasting to ensure accurate resource allocation and planning
 

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
Build strong, lasting relationships with sponsors, internal teams, vendors, CROs, and sites

Facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams including Start-up, Clinical Operations, Investigator Payments, and Business Development
 

Project Excellence
Develop all project setup documents including CTA templates, fallback languages, and Site Contract Plans

Advise on investigator grant budgets and parameters in collaboration with global Grant Strategy teams

Monitor data accuracy and completeness throughout the contracting lifecycle
 

Who You Are
 
Experience & Education
3-5 years of experience in site contracting within the CRO industry

Bachelor's degree in a related field (law, economics, business, social sciences) or equivalent training/industry experience

Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with polished presentation abilities

Analytical Excellence: Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and interpret legal language and budgets

Contract Expertise: Ability to comprehend and interpret complex contract language; strong negotiation skills

Global Mindset: Thrives in virtual, multicultural team environments across different time zones

Problem-Solving: Identifies issues independently and executes solutions with effective decision-making

Attention to Detail: Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and maintains high professional standards

Technical Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with eTMF and contract management systems

Project Management: Excellent ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
