Role Overview A growing D2C baby subscription brand is looking for a Social Content Strategist & Creator to lead its Instagram presence and replace a US agency with someone who truly gets the brand. This role is for a self-directed professional who can develop and execute a full social strategy, produce high-quality content that speaks to modern parents, and build a steady stream of influencer and UGC-driven material — all with minimal hand-holding.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning
Develop and own the Instagram content strategy aligned with brand values and subscription growth goals

Build and manage a detailed content calendar that keeps the brand posting consistently and on-brand

Identify content gaps and opportunities, and proactively bring ideas to the table

Content Creation & Production
Create engaging short-form video and static content — authentic, human, and never AI-looking

Write captions that connect with moms and parents without sounding salesy

Select cover images, manage thumbnails, and ensure every post looks intentional and polished

UGC & Influencer Sourcing
Actively find and reach out to influencers and UGC creators in the parenting and lifestyle space

Build a content library and flywheel so fresh, authentic material is always available to publish

Coordinate approvals, repurposing rights, and cross-channel use of creator content

Performance & Iteration
Monitor Instagram analytics and adjust strategy based on engagement and growth trends

Report on what is working and evolve the approach with each content cycle

Required Qualifications
Native or near-native English fluency in both writing and speaking

A compelling portfolio showing real brand ownership — not just posts you were given to schedule

Demonstrably strong visual sensibility and content production skills beyond basic Canva

Hands-on experience running influencer or UGC coordination pipelines

Proven track record owning a social media presence from strategy through execution

Must have prior remote work experience with US or UK-based companies and proficiency with remote tools such as Asana, ClickUp, WhatsApp, or Google Workspace. Applications without this experience will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with baby, parenting, family, or lifestyle consumer brands

Background working with D2C or subscription-based e-commerce businesses

Understanding of the US parenting demographic — what resonates, what turns them off

Willingness and comfort with on-camera appearances for content or candidate videos

Tools & Technology
Instagram and short-form video platforms

Advanced content creation and video editing tools (list your stack in your application)

Asana, ClickUp, or equivalent project management tools

Google Workspace, WhatsApp, and async communication platforms
