GuidePoint Security is seeking a Social Media & Communications Specialist to execute and support social media, brand, and communications initiatives across the organization. Sitting within the PR & Communications function, this role will help bring the GuidePoint Security brand to life across organic digital channels. The ideal candidate will own day-to-day social media execution while supporting broader public relations, thought leadership, employee advocacy, and internal communications efforts.

This is a highly collaborative role for someone with B2B social media experience, strong writing skills, and an interest in growing across brand and communications in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment.

Role & Responsibilities

Execute the social media program aligned to brand and marketing priorities

Own day-to-day management of corporate social channels

Develop social content strategies aligned to events, partnerships, product launches, thought leadership, and key business initiatives

Partner cross-functionally to maintain an integrated social content calendar

Monitor brand mentions, industry conversations, social trends, and audience activity to identify timely content and engagement opportunities

Own social media reporting, including tracking performance, analyzing results, and providing insights to improve content effectiveness and audience engagement

Support executive visibility and employee advocacy initiatives through social content development and coordination

Contribute to broader brand, PR, and internal communications efforts as needed

Position Requirements

2–5 years of experience in social media, communications, or digital marketing, preferably in a B2B environment

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear, engaging content

Experience managing LinkedIn and other corporate social platforms

A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail

Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools

Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred

Experience in cybersecurity, enterprise technology, or a related industry is a plus

Travel Requirements:

Any travel/on site requirements as needed

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work

Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day

Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
