Our client is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to take ownership of content creation and platform management across key digital channels. The organization is focused on strengthening its brand presence across Meta and LinkedIn while expanding visibility within AI-driven search environments through Large Language Model Optimization (LLMO). This role plays a central part in driving engagement, improving share of voice, and aligning social strategy with broader marketing priorities.

Role Overview
The Social Media Manager will lead content creation, publishing, scheduling, and performance tracking across Meta and LinkedIn platforms, while also supporting broader channel distribution. This role is responsible for implementing the content calendar, managing community engagement, and executing LLMO and citation initiatives to enhance brand visibility in AI-generated responses.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Create and publish regular content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube based on strategic priorities

Design visually compelling posts using Canva and Adobe Photoshop

Write engaging, platform-specific copy aligned with target audiences and engagement goals

Collaborate with the video editor to coordinate video content needs and provide creative direction

Implement and optimize the content calendar provided by the Marketing Director, incorporating creative input

Schedule and publish content using Hootsuite to ensure consistency

Monitor engagement and performance metrics regularly

Report on social media performance, engagement trends, and campaign effectiveness

Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner

LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization) & Citation Management
Monitor and manage citations provided by Athena HQ to maintain accurate and updated information

Execute email outreach campaigns to editors and publications using established templates to enhance share of voice on AI platforms

Track and report on LLM share of voice performance and citation impact

Identify opportunities to improve brand visibility in AI-generated responses and strengthen overall SEO presence through LLMO

Community Engagement
Monitor Reddit and other relevant forums daily for discussions related to bathroom renovations, DIY projects, and home improvement

Respond to customer inquiries and participate in conversations using the brand voice

Engage authentically within relevant online communities to build visibility and trust

Qualifications
Experience
3–5 years of professional experience in social media management and digital marketing

Proven track record of creating engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube

Experience using Hootsuite or similar scheduling platforms

Familiarity with LLMO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and AI-powered search strategies preferred

Skills
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms and audiences

Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Photoshop for visual content creation

Ability to analyze and report on social media performance and LLM share of voice data

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

Comfortable managing email outreach and citation pitching efforts

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Self-starter capable of working independently and taking initiative

In-depth understanding of social media analytics and performance optimization
