Social Media & Marketing Lead

A Girl In is a womenswear brand based in Austin, Texas, launching this summer. Vintage-inspired and designed for the traveling girl, each collection is built around a destination — shifting cities, moods, and versions of her. The first collection is “A Girl in Austin,” followed by “A Girl in Love” and “A Girl in New York.”

At A Girl In, we believe we travel to find a version of ourselves we haven’t met yet. The brand lives in the space between where you are and where you’re going.

She is grounded, present, feminine, and in motion — whimsical, a little wild, drawn forward by instinct and always on the move.

Role Description

This is a part-time, Austin-based role for a Social media & Marketing Lead. You will work closely with the founder to build and grow the brand across social and marketing as we launch.

You will:

• Own and execute Instagram and TikTok content

• Plan, shoot, and edit content (Reels, posts, stories)

• Help define brand voice and storytelling

• Support photoshoots, influencer outreach, and events

• Bring ideas and take initiative

• Strong visual taste and understanding of fashion/content

• Comfortable creating and editing content

• Self-directed and organized

• Interested in building a brand from the ground up

• Based in Austin (UT students encouraged)
