Software Product Manager
You will work cross-functionally with all department teams to define and refine the product strategy, manage the product roadmap, and ensure we deliver exceptional value to both patients and providers.
- Own and evolve the software product roadmap in alignment with business and operational and strategic goals.
- Prioritize features and improvements based on clinical workflows, user impact, and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define strategic objectives that leverage technology for business outcomes.
- Serve as the primary interface between clinical, operational, IT, and executive teams.
- Lead stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and user testing to refine application usability.
- Advocate for real-world clinical needs by working closely with physicians, care coordinators, and administrative staff.
- Communicate product plans, development progress, and challenges in a clear, non-technical manner.
- Create detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog of features, bugs, and enhancements.
- Support Agile practices including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.
- Ensure all releases are tested, documented, and implemented with minimal disruption to users.
- Champion UX/UI improvements to ensure intuitive and accessible applications.
- Develop training materials and onboarding documentation for new features and system changes.
- Monitor user adoption and gather feedback post-deployment to iterate and optimize software experiences.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in healthcare or enterprise software environments.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and managing software development lifecycles.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and user-centered design principles.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical topics for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with telemedicine, healthcare workflows, or clinical systems is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS, benefit modules, worker’s compensation insurance and other insurance brokerage software is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar platforms.
- Work is performed in an indoor office setting
- Able to sit for several hours at a time with periodic breaks
- Ability to use fine motor skills to operate computers, office equipment and/or machinery.
- Visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading.
