Sourcing Manager
- Ability to Negotiate competitive hotel deals that include tailored add-ons and concessions aligned with the client’s preferences and overall event vision.
- Understand holistic client needs, maintain clear communication, and identify venues and vendors that fit the event brief -- aided by a comprehensive background knowledge of Hotels across all brands/star levels in the region of expertise (or even good to generalize all US for now).
- Provide cross-functional sourcing support across the Event team, rigorously prioritizing the highest impact areas among other competing priorities.

- Own the hotel sourcing process from client kickoff, to RFPs, through signed contracts, including negotiating contract terms and clauses
- Partner with event planners on sourcing needs for clients
- Work with supply partners to ensure RFP accuracy to reduce sourcing errors, and reduce the overall time it takes us to complete the sourcing product platform-wide as a first issue priority
- Regularly review the sourcing funnel and analyze needs, opportunities, and potential blockers
- Demonstrate exceptional client obsession by consistently meeting or exceeding client expectations
- Adapt to changing client requests with a positive attitude and a focus on finding solutions
- Own process improvement and documentation for best practices to ensure the team is set up for success
- Establish an ongoing feedback loop with the partnerships team on hotel performance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in end-to-end event management with a focus on sourcing, vendor management/coordination, planning, execution, and budget management
- 3-5 years of experience in hotels/hospitality required
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Strong adaptability, flexibility, and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of urgency and the ability to rigorously prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent project management skills and experience managing a high volume of tasks
- Strong executive presence and ability to present information to a variety of senior leaders
- Proven ability to be creative and innovative in planning in-person events

- Base: $88,000 - $105,000 a year; Depending on Experience and Qualifications
- Bonus: $10,000 annually, based on Business and Personal Milestones
