The Specialist in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility (DEIA) will advance DEIA strategy, support initiatives, and analyze data to measure impact while fostering collaboration across the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key part in advancing our DEIA strategy and ensuring its successful integration across the firm
  • Partner with DEIA leaders on strategic initiatives and projects, while actively supporting efforts that drive impact
  • Craft impactful presentations, draft clear and engaging communications, and collaborate with teams across the Culture & People Office to align priorities
  • Analyze data to measure impact, research emerging trends to keep our efforts innovative, and contribute fresh ideas to strengthen inclusion
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally to help embed DEIA into everything we do

Skills

  • Post-secondary education
  • Ideally 1+ years of DEIA experience and knowledge on industry trends
  • An inherent passion for DEIA, with demonstrated cultural intelligence and competence
  • Experience working cross functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguity
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to unpredictable changes and delivering effective support even with limited information
  • Lead with curiosity, you have an open mind and are keen to learn
  • Change management and/or project management experience
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills and slide design capability
  • Demonstrated experience converting analytical results into actionable recommendations that create business value
  • Knowledge of Employment Equity legislation, DEIA best practices, challenges, and strategies will be considered an asset
  • Experience leading and/or working with Employee Resource Groups will be considered an asset
  • Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is a very strong asset
