Spring/Summer 2026 University Entry-level STEM Pipeline
Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence. They are seeking entry-level engineers eager to jump-start their careers in the STEM field, providing support across various engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Collect applicants for entry-level engineering positions
- Align candidates to one or more projects based on their career aspirations
- Support engineering projects that involve design, development, testing, and evaluating of computer components and intelligence collection systems
- Oversee development contractors, test and inspect, and assist in operational deployment
Skills
- US Citizenship is required
- In the process of pursuing/completing a BS/BA or MS/MA degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or related field with an expected completion/graduation date in the December 2025 or May/June 2026 time-frame and 0-2 years of experience through previous coursework and/or internships
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance, if applicable and as dictated by the program/contract
- A passion for learning, helping others, and contributing value to the mission in any way possible
- Ability to create, sustain, and enhance fostering of team dynamics and collaboration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies and concepts
- You are self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
- Previous hands-on internship experience in your related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft office
- An already active government security clearance
