We are hiring a Creative Strategist to lead the development of performance-driven creative strategy across paid social channels. This role is responsible for translating business goals and performance insights (communicated by the Director of Content & Creator Performance) into scalable creative frameworks that drive customer acquisition. Working alongside our Director of Content & Creator Performance, you will own the strategic direction of creative across Meta and TikTok, guiding concept development, creative briefing, scriptwriting, and iterative testing across statics, GIFs, and short-form video.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, performance marketing, and creative execution, with a strong emphasis on UGC-driven content. A huge plus is experience as a UGC creator and a willingness to be on camera as the proof-of-concept creator for new ideas before scaling them through external creators when needed. What You Will Do
Creative Strategy Ownership
Evolve creative strategy frameworks for paid social acquisition, based on the performance feedback communicated from the Director of Content and Creator Performance
Translate performance data (creative-related KPIs), audience insights and brand positioning into actionable creative briefs
Identify opportunities for scaling winning concepts and unlocking new creative angles
Experience hiring creators, sourcing for Whitelisting and reoptimizing pre-existing assets into conversion-driven ads
Creative Direction & Briefing
Lead development of clear, high-quality creative briefs for internal teams and external creators
Additionally, being able to craft easy to understand post-production briefs for an external video editing partner (experience working with overseas video editors is a bonus)
Set direction and execute:
Hooks and messaging that holds the viewers attention
Visual storytelling (b-roll shotlists, content sourcing, third party stock footage sites, etc)
Creatives for TikTok that can then be multi-purposed to other paid channels (Meta, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, SnapChat, etc)
Ensure all creative aligns with both performance goals and brand voice (crafting ads that convert without impacting brand integrity)
UGC-Driven Concept Development
Own ideation and execution of UGC-style ad concepts optimized for conversion
Source creators that fit the specific angle and demographic that brief is for
Develop content that balances native platform feel and performance-driven messaging
Guide editors toward high-performing outputs
Part of your role will be going through rounds of edits with our external video editing partner, so experience giving notes is important
Creative Diversity and Iteration
Lead strategy and execution for scaling winning creatives, avoiding creative fatigue and expanding successful concepts into new formats
Establish frameworks for concept variation, testing velocity and creative refresh cycles
Performance Integration
Partner closely with existing acquisition and creative teams to analyze creative performance, inform future creative insights and identify trends and tangible takeaways to apply to net-new and expansion edits
Use data to continuously refine strategy and improve ROI
Take winning concepts and adapt them across various formats (statics, GIFs, video)
Ensure each variation feels distinct to the platform and algorithm
Creative Systems & Operations
Work with the Director of Content and Creator Performance to improve and scale creative workflows, briefing systems and pipelines
Ensure clarity, consistency and efficiency across tools Hive / Wrike and Iconik (where we store assets and give editor feedback)
Support a high-volume, test and learn creative environment
What You Bring
Experience in DTC, paid social creative strategy, and/or UGC strategy
Proven track record of developing high-performing paid social creative (case studies)
Deep understanding of UGC-style content and platform-native trends (TikTok, Meta)
Experience owning creative strategy, not just execution
Strong ability to connect performance data to creative decisions
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment

Reporting Structure
You will report directly to our Director of Content and Creator Performance and work closely to bring high-level strategy to life through execution.

What We Offer
Salary: $75,000 - $140,000
