Job DetailsJob Location: Smart Circle International - Newport Beach - Newport Beach, CA 92660Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 Salary/yearThe Senior Compliance Operations Manager ensures that compliance standards are not only defined but consistently executed across client accounts. This role is responsible for overseeing adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and service expectations - while bringing structure and visibility to how work gets done.

Working across account management and leadership, you will identify risks early, connect insights across teams, and implement processes that are clear, repeatable, and scalable. You’ll play a key role in turning inconsistent or manual workflows into disciplined operations that hold up under growth.

Success in this role means strengthening accountability, improving operational consistency, and addressing issues before they escalate. The impact is measurable: reduced risk, stronger service delivery, and sustained client trust.

 

The Basics:  

Location: WFH/Remote available (U.S. based only) 

Compensation: $110,000-$130,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential 

In accordance with applicable law, the compensation range listed above reflects our good faith estimate of the expected salary for this role at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.

What You’ll Do:  

 

Compliance Oversight & Quality Assurance 

Ensure compliance standards are consistently followed across multiple client accounts and programs 

Audit client interactions, deliverables, and workflows to identify gaps and risks 

Develop and maintain quality assurance frameworks to monitor adherence to policies 

Client & Internal Reporting 

Analyze and report on compliance trends, risks, and performance metrics 

Present insights and recommendations to clients and internal leadership 

Create and distribute weekly and monthly operational/compliance reports 

Operational Process Management 

Standardize processes and workflows across account management teams 

Implement and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and best practices 

Continuously improve operational systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy 

Performance Monitoring & SLA Management 

Monitor SLAs, response times, and overall service quality across teams 

Ensure urgent client issues are addressed promptly and appropriately 

Hold account teams accountable for meeting communication and performance expectations 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

Partner with account managers, client success teams, and leadership to drive compliance initiatives 

Provide training and guidance to teams on compliance standards and expectations 

Support escalation management and resolution for high-risk compliance issues 

 

 

What You’ll Bring: 

2-3+ years of experience in operations, compliance, client services, or a related field 

Experience managing or overseeing client-facing teams or processes 

Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable speaking in front of crowds and executive leadership 

Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, auditing practices, or regulatory environments
