Proven experience debugging systems under high throughput (100k+ events/sec or equivalent)

Production experience with event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ)

Deep understanding of eventual consistency, distributed tracing, and failure modes

Security Operations Context
5+ years in security operations, MDR, MSSP, SOC, or equivalent high-volume event processing

Understanding of security data formats (SIEM, EDR, SOAR) or ability to learn quickly

Technical Skills
Strong API design expertise (REST, GraphQL, event-driven)

Database architecture experience (relational and NoSQL)

Cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration in production

CI/CD pipeline design and observability architectures

Soft Skills
Excellent communication with multiple audiences
