We are looking for passionate, innovative hands-on professionals to join our team. We are seeking highly skilled Systems Engineers/Project Manager to be part of a team responsible for ensuring the security and compliance with protecting sensitive data. As a systems engineer, you must be a technically strong individual with a passion for cybersecurity and a desire to make a tangible impact. In this role you will be responsible for deployment, maintaining and supporting customer engagements in our secure environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility – Engage with internal stakeholders, deploy and support highly secure system environments.
• Automate systems and support functions.
• Use internal collaboration tools to document efforts and resolution of customer issues.
• Lead efforts to deliver, maintain, and improve secure environments to meet and exceed Industry security standards.
• Successfully deliver multiple projects that are customer driven efforts.
• Utilize project management skills and engage with multiple engineering groups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders, ensuring that all aspects of the infrastructure adhere to the necessary standards.
• Able to communicate with both internal and external customers and have investigative type questioning to help resolve their issues.
• Use Linux and Windows skills to help configure hosts in secure environments using existing best practices and procedures.
• Expected to deploy highly secure environments and handle all aspects of driving the project to completion like gathering all requirements, creating a schedule by setting expectations, working with engineers in deploying specific software and providing proper infrastructure to handle specialized secure environment.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Required technical experience minimums:
• Experience with the fundamentals of Linux / Windows administration and scripting languages (e.g Shell scripts, Python)
• Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software
• Familiarity with using virtualization technologies like VMware and Proxmox
• Familiarity with data security, firewalls, and best practices
• 8 years of IT work experience managing information security and complex network and information security appliances as a Security Administrator, Specialist, or Engineer
• 3 years' experience working in enterprise virtualization platforms for on-prem cloud solutions like Proxmox, OpenStack
• 3 years' experience working with infrastructure monitoring services including Prometheus/Grafana, open-source systems metrics (such as Zabbix or CheckMk), experience with security tooling for vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
• 2 years' experience working with ServiceNow ticketing systems
• 2 years working with Jira and or equivalent project tracking
• Required work & industry experience
• Have worked in architecting solutions with securing highly sensitivedata.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable plans.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, partners and customers.
• Ability to develop and present technical concepts to a business audience.
