- Clarify and reinforce course concepts, assignments, and materials for students
- Assess, assist, and encourage students in the learning process
- Develop and teach supplementary lessons
- Identify specific needs of each student and provide targeted support
- Reinforce good study skill methods and strategies
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a student at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with an overall GPA of 3.00 or higher
- Earned at least a B+ or higher in the course(s) you will tutor
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ease in relating to people from varying educational, cultural, and social backgrounds
