Staff Accountant Needed
Celero Commerce is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. In this role, you’ll support accurate financial reporting, contribute to month-end close activities, and help maintain the overall financial health of the organization. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys collaboration, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: 
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Support month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting and decision-making
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activity to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare routine reports and schedules to support financial analysis
Respond to requests from internal teams and external stakeholders with professionalism and timeliness
Maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions in compliance with applicable regulations
Support Senior Accountants, management, and functional teams (such as AP and AR) with ad hoc requests and projects
Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy
Utilize accounting systems and tools to track and record financial data
Provide support across other accounting functions as needed
Experience & Requirements:
2+ years of professional experience in an accounting or finance-related role
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
Experience using accounting software and Excel for analysis and reporting
Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
Clear and effective communication skills for working across teams
Ability to navigate ambiguity, think critically, and contribute to business-impacting solutions
A strong sense of ownership and commitment to acting in the best financial interest of the organization
