POSITION SUMMARY

The Strategic Partnerships Lead is responsible for assisting the VP of IAA Global Product in managing business relationships with key strategic partners and vendors that align to IAA Marketplace’s strategic priorities and unlock value for customers. This individual will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and evaluate partnership opportunities, develop strategic plans, onboard new partners, support product integration efforts, and maintain ongoing partner relationships.

KEY OBJECTIVES
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that align with marketplace strategy and growth objectives

    Strengthen relationships with existing strategic partners

    Communicate progress of joint initiatives with stakeholders and leadership

    Stay informed on insurance and whole car remarketing industry trends

    Attend relevant conferences and trade shows to network and evaluate industry shifts

    Assess potential partners by analyzing capabilities, financials, and business plans

    Understand customer needs and vendor strengths to translate into strategic opportunities

    Work with Product Management to define requirements for integrations and new capabilities

    Manage the partner portfolio and establish performance measurement criteria

    Lead prioritization of development and integration initiatives

    Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Product Management, and Engineering to support onboarding and enablement

    Coordinate internal cross-functional meetings and alignment activities

    Contribute to overall Product Management strategy and business growth initiatives across RB Global

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Develop and maintain a strategic partner portfolio aligned to IAA Marketplace vision

    Define partner performance criteria and ensure performance optimization

    Coordinate successful execution of partner integrations

    Strengthen existing partner relationships and identify new joint value opportunities

    Communicate partnership and integration updates to key executives

    Ensure understanding and compliance with partner agreements

    Maintain strong interdepartmental relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience:

5–10+ years in Business Development, Product Management, or related partnerships role

Demonstrated experience developing partnerships and driving measurable results

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Remote / Office environment

    Extensive use of computer-based communication

    Regular interaction with partners, customers, and internal teams

    Travel: Required (conferences, partner meetings, site visits)
