Survey Cad Technician

Selectek has partnered with a company in Chapel Hill, NC who is actively looking to hire a Survey Cad Technician for a staff position.

The position offer an 80% work from home schedule

Pay is dependent on experience and estimated at $55K-$73K, plus 100% paid employee benefits.

Key Services Expectations:
• Perform and compile as-builts for utilities, SCM’s, foundations, and other site improvements.
• Perform 2D and 3D drafting, primarily utilizing Carlson, Trimble Business Center, and Autodesk Civil 3D software
• Convert Field Data from Boundary Surveys.
• Topographic Surface Models
• Residential, Commercial and Industrial projects

Required:
• 2+ years of progressive experience and knowledge with Carlson and Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of land survey and construction layout principles and CAD drafting techniques
• Willingness and ability to periodically work in the field alongside survey crews.
• Ability to prioritize with respect to projects, CAD standard, etc. on a daily basis
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
