Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse U.S. Automotive Import Data: Identify and assess tariff exposure, compliance risks, and duty spending trends for automotive imports.

Translate Tariff Rules into Insights: Use advanced data analysis to transform complex tariff regulations into actionable insights and clear, data-driven reports.

Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with legal, finance, logistics, and compliance teams to ensure accurate tariff calculations and regulatory compliance.

Monitor Duty Spend Trends: Develop and maintain reports that track tariff and duty spend, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Ensure Audit-Ready Compliance: Provide traceable, audit-ready analysis that supports the company’s commitment to regulatory adherence and transparency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Expertise in U.S. Import/Customs Regulations: Deep understanding of U.S. tariff rules, HTS classifications, and import/export compliance requirements.

Advanced Data Analytics Skills: Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to analyse large datasets and generate actionable reports.

Business Insight & Communication: Ability to translate complex technical findings into business-oriented recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Import Compliance Experience: Prior experience in customs audits, import/export compliance, and tariff regulations is essential.
