Your mission

At Bikeleasing Group, we build digital solutions used by thousands of people every day. We rely on modern technologies, clean architectures, and teams that take ownership. In the middle of a significant technical transformation – modernising legacy systems, building domain-oriented services, and professionalising our engineering organisation – we are looking for an experienced leader to take over our QA team and bring it to the next level.

As Team Lead QA (gn) you will lead a well-established team of 8 QA Engineers, safeguard our existing quality standards, and drive them forward. You are the central lever for reliability, product quality, and stable releases – and you actively shape how quality is embedded across our entire engineering organisation. If you want to build QA as a strategic asset rather than just manage it, we'd love to hear from you.

You take on disciplinary leadership of the QA team (currently 8 people), support their growth, and build a clear career path from Junior to Lead

You define and continuously evolve the QA strategy for the entire engineering organisation – including quality gates, definition-of-done standards, and quality KPIs

You build a cross-team test automation platform (E2E, API, integration, UI) and own its integration into our CI/CD pipelines with clear feedback loops and shift-left practices

You establish a sustainable operating model for the QA function across all product teams and collaborate closely with tech leads, product owners, and DevOps

You develop a QA and test automation roadmap as a first-class artefact with quarterly goals and measurable milestones – aligned with engineering and product strategy

Your profile

You bring at least 3 years of experience in a lead or senior role with disciplinary or functional leadership responsibility in a QA environment

You have deep hands-on experience in test automation (frontend e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Cypress; API e.g. RestAssured, Karate) and solid knowledge of CI/CD integrations – framework-agnostic and pragmatic.

You are familiar with modern software architectures (microservices, event-driven, REST/GraphQL APIs) and the corresponding testing strategies

You have built and scaled QA teams (4+ people) – including recruiting, onboarding, and career development

You think in business impact: you can communicate quality requirements clearly to engineering leadership and product, and you have a genuine builder mindset
