Your role in our mission

Main Responsibilities:

Serve as a Technical Lead for our proprietary healthcare management systems which provides support and management for state government healthcare programs and services

Support and enhancements of Client and Public facing portals .Net Framework including UI Layer, webui, SODA, SODA data access, and Custom/AD providers

Support and maintenance of portals SQL Server and SSRS instances

Provide system-wide support to include answering system-wide questions; software troubleshooting; and research and develop SW RTI

Assist in the troubleshooting of issues for all subsystems 

Design and development of GUI pages and panels for various subsystems

Provide support for miscellaneous Web Apps and Web Services

Support application/code migrations to the various environments (Test, MO, UAT, Production)

 

Other Responsibilities:  

 

Respond to help desk questions about the interchange application

Security Role Exports and Imports

Help Text Production Promotions

Help Text Promotions (Dev/Test, MO, UAT)

Monthly Maintenance (Like Vault cleanup)

System Performance Monitoring 

Systems issues troubleshooting (including support for network troubleshooting)

Provide back-up support for UI code builds and promotions

Answer support questions from other MMIS implementations

Provide RTI /Issue resolution suggestions 

SLA Compliance Reporting

Code Walkthroughs for System Wide and Subsystems code modifications

Support tools design and development and utilization (DNN Exception Reporting tool, Help Text Export/Import tool, Security Role Change and Migration tool, SLA Excel Update tool)

Client Change Order implementation (Verification, coding and testing)

Cross-train for vacation/emergency backup for System Architect and occasionally for other subsystems

VM servers/Application monitoring and Disk Space optimizations and cleanup

Misc Data backup

Feedback on potential coding changes created by others

Mentoring new developers and those new to the team.

Provide on call/after-hours support as needed

Act on and approve/deny secured access requests and password resets

Add/modify/delete Active Directory user accounts

Monthly IIS Log Compression

Support release coordinator team

Helping new developers with the initial setting up of the iC development environment on their computer 

User development environment support and troubleshooting (VS, IIS, Builds, etc) for upgrades and general issues for existing staff

Creation and maintenance of systems documentation

Create and maintain code release build scripts

Server software installation and upgrade/maintenance needed for applications, including development tools and security patches.

Encryption of sensitive information in multiple environment config files

Build and deploy internal access request tool releases to multiple environments

Support annual DR drills as a system wide representative

Catch-all - be ready to do a variety of things at a moment’s notice

What we're looking for

 

9+ years of applications development and programming using ASP.NET, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, MS-SQL, Oracle and SQL, including experience with the following:

 

Microsoft Command Language

PowerShell

Microsoft .NET (multiple version)

Microsoft .NET Framework

Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)

Experience with Healthcare systems (Claims, Pharmacy) processing real time transactions for functional areas. 

 

Desired experience:

Vault Command Line

Regular Expressions

Visual Basic

Batch programming (C/Linux/Unix)

Windows performance monitoring tools; Browsers (and a knowledge of their settings)

Microsoft Visual Studio (multiple version)

What you should expect in this role

 

Fully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States

Provide on call/after-hours support as needed

Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)

Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required

The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
