About the role

As a Technical Account Consultant at Rippling, you’ll be the primary expert for our customers’ finance and payroll operations. This is a highly hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll spend a significant portion of your day on calls, deeply engaging with customers to understand their unique business needs. You’ll provide expert guidance on Rippling’s payroll, time and attendance, time off, and other financial products, helping clients navigate complex scenarios and optimize their workflows.

Your work will be centered on building strong, trusted relationships with customer administrators, acting as their advocate and providing personalized, proactive support. You will be a vital resource, not just for your customers, but for your internal team as well. What you will do

  • Provide Hands-On Customer Support: Engage in avg. 3-4 hours of direct customer calls daily to provide in-depth technical assistance and strategic guidance on Rippling’s payroll and financial products.
  • Deepen Product Expertise: Become a go-to resource on all things payroll, time and attendance, time off, and accounting integrations, solving complex, interdependent problems.
  • Drive Adoption: Partner with clients to increase their use of key features, consult on best practices, and help them seamlessly integrate Rippling into their business operations.
  • Ensure Customer Success: Act as a project manager for your engagements, guiding customers to ensure they feel supported and confident with our platform.
  • Act as an Advocate: Thoughtfully advocate for customer needs by working closely with internal product and engineering teams to influence our product roadmap.
What you will need
  • 3+ years of SaaS experience in a customer-facing role like account management, consulting, or technical support.
  • Strong communication skills: The ability to explain complex technical and financial scenarios in simple, clear, and concise written or verbal communication.
  • Ruthless prioritization and exceptional time management skills
