Job Summary

The Technical Consultant plays a key role in delivering impactful Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions for our clients. In this role, you will partner closely with organizations to design and implement efficient, scalable systems that transform how they manage their workforce.

Your primary focus will be on guiding clients through complex data conversions and interface integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity within their HCM environment. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with client-facing consulting, driving meaningful outcomes and long-term success.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into technical solutions by quickly understanding client needs and the associated system implications

Analyze, design, document, and deliver interface solutions between client systems and UKG Pro, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performance

Develop, test, and implement integrations with UKG Pro, adhering to best practices and project timelines

Lead end-to-end data conversion activities, including interpreting, validating, transforming, and loading data from various HR/Payroll systems into UKG Pro (e.g., employee, payroll, benefits, contact, dependents, beneficiaries and historical data)

Ensure data integrity and compliance by performing thorough validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes

Produce comprehensive post-conversion documentation to support client validation, audit readiness, and ongoing system reliability

Troubleshoot and resolve data and integration issues efficiently, minimizing disruption to project timelines and client operations

Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation, ensuring all deliverables are properly documented and archived

Contribute to the successful delivery of enterprise HCM implementations through strong technical expertise and collaboration

Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering results

Required Qualifications

SQL, Interface Programming, and Report Writing skills required

Strong experience with Excel, data manipulation, validation, and VLOOKUP’s

3+ years of experience in data conversion and/or interface development

Must have experience working with HR/Payroll systems: UKG, Dayforce, Kronos, ADP, PayChex, Workday and/or others

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and balance working with multiple projects, clients, and other consultants at the same time

Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to meet changing scope and resource situations

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Prior consulting experience preferred

UKG Certification in People Analytics, Integrations (Pro and/or WFM) or Data Conversion (US and/or Canada)

Travel Requirements:

Up to 10% Travel required

Schedule:
This position follows US Eastern Time business hours, Monday through Friday.

Location:
Remote (US, Canada)

Compensation:
Base salary: CAD $80,000 - CAD $95,000
