About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Engineering Advisor / DFM Engineer to support product development and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will act as a key link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring manufacturability of designs and successful transition into production.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews for high-end customer orders

Analyze and support optimization of part designs to ensure manufacturability

Conduct customer communication via phone and video calls regarding design and production issues

Maintain written communication with customers for problem-solving and technical clarification

Collaborate with partners and suppliers (written, phone, video) to resolve manufacturability challenges

Provide expertise in complaint handling (excluding formal RMA cases)

Support continuous improvement of manufacturing and engineering processes

Ensure clear and timely resolution of technical production issues

Requirements

Experience

7+ years of experience in CNC machining and/or sheet metal manufacturing

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal fabrication)

Experience working with technical drawings and design-related problem solving

Languages

Fluent and professional English

Fluent and professional German

Working Conditions

Working hours: CET (8:00–17:00 or 9:00–18:00)

Remote work: possible (Germany / Poland / Bulgaria) or office-based (Munich)

If located in Munich: hybrid work in line with back-to-office policy

Holiday calendar: local law / Bavarian public holidays

Additional Information

This role is initially planned as a replacement for approximately 1 year

Extension is possible depending on team structure and business needs
