Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans for accounting courses in both classroom and online settings
  • Assist in developing program and course syllabi, goals, and objectives that align with industry standards
  • Evaluate students' progress in attaining course goals and objectives, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Participate in academic support services, including student advisement, registration, and tutoring
  • Request and maintain necessary supplies and equipment, preparing budget requests as needed
  • Ensure program certification requirements are met, staying up-to-date with relevant regulations and standards
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and administrative reports

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Accounting or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Three years of work experience in the Accounting field, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Active participation in relevant professional or occupational organizations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Documented experience teaching post-secondary Accounting courses
