Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales Support & Customer Engagement

Act as a senior technical advisor to the sales team for tracker system opportunities, with a primary focus on Mandarin / China-based customers

Lead and facilitate technical discussions with EPCs, developers, owners, and technical consultants throughout the sales cycle

Support RFIs, RFPs, and tenders by developing technical responses, system configurations, and commercial tradeoff analyses

Consult on system design decisions including tracker architecture, site constraints, performance optimization, and cost impacts

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Applications Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Project Engineering to ensure technically sound and commercially competitive solutions

Guide complex projects from early-stage conversations through contract award and successful handoff to operations

Deliver technical presentations and training for customers and internal sales teams

Support customer meetings, site visits, and third-party technical reviews as required

Product Positioning, Market Insight & Sales Enablement

Develop and maintain deep expertise in product alternatives, design philosophies, and emerging market approaches relevant to Nextpower’s core products: single-axis solar trackers, eBOS, foundations, advanced steel module frames, and more

Translate market observations and technical comparisons into clear, fact-based product positioning guidance

Partner with Sales, Product, and Marketing to ensure consistent, credible differentiation of Nextpower solutions

Create frameworks, tools, and internal content that help teams understand how and when to position our solutions effectively

Prepare internal briefings, competitive-style product comparisons, and decision-support materials for leadership and cross-functional teams

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field

5+ years of experience in utility-scale solar, power generation, or complex engineered systems

Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Technical Sales, Applications Engineering, Field Engineering, Project Engineering)

Strong understanding of utility-scale solar tracker systems and project lifecycles

Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively

Proven ability to work cross-functionally across sales, engineering, and product teams

Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal)

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting EPCs, developers, or owners in China or broader APAC markets

Exposure to competitive product positioning, market analysis, or strategy roles

Experience preparing customer-facing comparisons, value narratives, or technical differentiators

Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with data-driven analysis

Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce

MBA or equivalent business exposure is a plus
