Knot is like “Plaid for merchant connectivity.” We are building the platform connecting merchants to the many applications that consumers and businesses interact with everyday. Our flagship CardSwitcher product allows consumers to instantly update & manage their cards on file with online merchant accounts (e.g. Netflix or PayPal), while newer products like TransactionLink support the retrieval of item-level transaction data. We are building many new products on top of our novel merchant connectivity platform and we hope you choose to come build them with us!

We’re a small, elite, engineering-heavy team headquartered in NYC. We take pride in being both fast-moving and customer-obsessed — and we’re serious about hiring world-class talent to help us scale. We’re looking for a Technical Talent Sourcer to help us identify and engage the very best engineers to build the next generation of merchant connectivity.

What You’ll Do

• Own top-of-funnel sourcing for technical roles

  Partner closely with cofounders and hiring managers to understand role requirements and candidate profiles

  Build and manage outbound pipelines using platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, and niche sourcing tools

  Craft thoughtful outreach to engage high-potential candidates and drive top-of-funnel activity

  Experiment with new sourcing strategies and iterate quickly based on what’s working

  Maintain a clean and organized pipeline in Ashby (our ATS) and keep stakeholders informed

  Conduct initial phone screens and move candidates through the recruiting process

  Represent Knot to prospective candidates with clarity, enthusiasm, and authenticity

  Operate with urgency and precision in a fast-moving startup environment

• 1–3 years of experience sourcing technical talent (e.g. software engineers, engineering leaders)

  Strong research and Boolean search skills — you know how to find needles in haystacks

  Exceptional written communication and outreach skills

  Ability to stay organized and prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  High attention to detail and follow-through

  Grit, hustle, and curiosity — you’re hungry to learn and grow

  Experience with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Ashby, etc.) is a plus

  Prior startup experience is a plus, but not required
