ThirdChannel is a company that partners with brands to enhance their visibility and performance in retail environments. They are seeking a Territory Brand Ambassador to represent a portfolio of client brands in-store, focusing on visual merchandising and customer engagement to drive sell-through and build strong relationships with store leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct regular visits to assigned retail locations, with a strong focus on department stores (e.g., Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Dillard’s) and specialty retail
  • Execute visual merchandising standards across fashion, athleisure, sporting, and footwear categories, ensuring presentations are aligned with brand guidelines and optimized for sell-through
  • Deliver confident, knowledgeable customer interactions, clearly communicating product features, fit, craftsmanship, and performance benefits
  • Build trusted relationships with store leadership and associates to ensure smooth execution, brand advocacy, and long-term consistency
  • Capture high-quality photos of displays and floor presentations and document each visit with accurate reporting and insights using ThirdChannel’s digital tools
  • Share timely feedback, opportunities, and competitive observations with internal teams and brand partners
  • Contribute to training resources and best practices that support visual merchandising excellence and in-store execution
  • Identify opportunities to enhance brand storytelling, customer experience, and overall retail performance

Skills

  • Proven experience in retail visual merchandising, brand ambassadorship, or store-level leadership, ideally within department store environments
  • Background or strong familiarity with fashion, athleisure, sporting, and/or footwear brands
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing a territory independently
  • Proficiency with mobile technology, reporting platforms, Google Suite, and MS Office
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the NYC territory
  • Flexible availability, including occasional nights and weekends (up to two weekends per month)
