Overview:
The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a proactive approach to prospecting and a passion for closing deals. The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for region of the Golden Horseshoe and the Southwestern Ontario market. Reporting directly to the Residential Sales Manager, this role will be to serve as the main point of contact throughout the sales process, engaging with the Project Team and Installation Teams, to ensure Projects are completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction.
Location: This is a remote role.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000
Bonus: This position is eligible to receive an incentive award targeted at 5% of the base salary.
Work Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
Proactively hunt for new opportunities and engage with Developers, Property Managers in the mid -rise and high-rise residential real estate space
Sell Metro Compactor Service’s Preventative Maintenance packages and seek renewals on expiring agreements
Seek opportunities to sell Power Washing contracts for chutes and garbage bins for existing buildings and for new construction projects
Utilize a Consultative Sales Approach with Customers and manage the sales cycle as the main point of contact with your customers
Work cross-functionally to execute Metro Compactor Service’s strategy of being the leader in waste management systems and solutions
Network with your industry and professional contacts to generate leads and increase revenue growth
Work closely with the Operations and Project Teams to ensure accurate information and deadlines are met for Tenders, Bid Requests, Quotes and Proposals
Stay informed on customer needs, corporate priorities and the competitive landscape
Report regularly on sales activities to the Residential Sales Manager to ensure goals and objectives are being achieved
Utilize CRM to ensure all documentation is current and key next steps in sales process are identified
Qualifications:
Needs to possess the “Hunter” mindset and is eager to source out new business opportunities
Able to collaborate with others including individuals and Teams
Willingness to continually learn and not averse to asking questions
Must be organized, efficient and able to provide relevant information to customers and team members in a timely manner
Excellent communication skills
Able to handle multiple projects and responsibilities at one time
Driven to excel in a busy, fast paced environment
Never willing to compromise the integrity of yourself or Metro Compactor Service
Able to handle difficult and complex situations with Customers
Demonstrates a high level of accountability personally and throughout your career
3+ years of sales experience preferably in a construction or manufacturing setting however, personality and fit are an integral part of this role
Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings
Pleasant demeanor with customers and team members
Ability to learn various CRM software programs
